Questions, answered.

Five tabs, every question we've heard. Anything missing? Send a note, we'll add it.

What is mobile IV therapy, in plain language?
A licensed clinician comes to your home, office, or hotel and gives you an IV drip: medical-grade saltwater plus the vitamins and minerals your infusion calls for. You sit comfortably for 30–60 minutes while it goes in. No needles in hospitals, no parking, no waiting rooms.
How do I book?
Tap any Book Now button on the site. It opens our scheduling system (JaneApp). You pick an infusion, a time, and an address. Clinical intake (health history, allergies, medications) happens inside JaneApp because it's built for healthcare.
How long does an appointment take?
Plan on 45–75 minutes total. A quick intake when we arrive (5–10 min), placing the IV (~5 min), the drip itself (30–60 min depending on the infusion), then wrap-up. NUYU Reset is the fastest. NAD+, when we launch it, will run longer.
Where do you serve?
Lancaster County, PA and immediately surrounding zip codes: Lancaster, Lititz, Manheim, Ephrata, Strasburg, Mount Joy, and more. If you're close and not sure, send us a note. We can usually make it work.
Who comes to my appointment?
A licensed clinician, working under the supervision of our medical director. You get the same primary clinician whenever possible. We follow standard clinical protocols on every visit: vitals, screening, consent, sterile technique.
Do I need to prepare anything?
Two things help: eat something small within a couple hours beforehand, and drink a glass of water. Wear something comfortable that exposes your arm. Have a quiet spot picked out where you can sit for an hour: couch, dining chair, or comfy bedside chair work great.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Reschedules with 24+ hours notice are free. Inside 24 hours there may be a partial fee. No-shows are charged in full. Stuff happens. If you're in a tough spot, just call.
How do I pick an infusion?
Easiest path: take the 60-second IV drip quiz. It asks five questions and points you to the right one. Or scan the full menu. Each infusion has a "Best for" line that tells you who it's built for.
What's actually in an IV drip?
Every infusion starts with 500 mL of medical-grade normal saline, sterile saltwater that hydrates you faster than drinking can. Then we add the vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that match your infusion. Common ingredients: B-Complex (energy/metabolism), Vitamin C (immune, skin), Magnesium (muscle, sleep), Glutathione (antioxidant, glow), Amino Blend (muscle recovery).
What's the difference between an IV and a shot?
IVs (intravenous) go directly into a vein and deliver a larger volume of fluid + nutrients over 30–60 minutes. Best when you need hydration plus a stack of vitamins.
Shots (intramuscular, or IM) are quick injections into your shoulder muscle. They take 30 seconds and deliver a concentrated dose of one thing: B-12, glutathione, an immune blend. Best when you want a quick in-and-out without a full IV.
What's the deal with the three B-12 shots?
B-12 comes in three forms with different properties:
  • Cyanocobalamin (Essential): the stable, widely-used form. Quick boost in hours, lasts a few days. The entry point.
  • Hydroxocobalamin (Balance): longer-lasting in the body. One shot, weeks of support. Fewer injections needed.
  • Methylcobalamin (Neuro Glow): the active, most-bioavailable form. Brain, mood, and nervous-system support. Our signature shot.
Can I add things to my drip?
Yes. We offer add-on boosters that get pushed into your IV after the main infusion: Amino Blend ($25), Mineral Blend ($25), Tri-Immune Boost ($40), Biotin ($30), Glutathione push ($45), Extra B-Complex ($25). Members get 10% off these add-ons.
Do you offer IV medications?
Three, on request and at your clinician's discretion:
  • Zofran ($25): for nausea
  • Pepcid ($25): for acid reflux / stomach upset
  • Toradol ($35): non-narcotic pain relief (migraine, muscle, menstrual)
Members get BOGO 50% off medications. We don't carry narcotics.
When is NAD+ launching?
Within the next few months. We're holding off until the delivery is dialed. NAD+ is a longer infusion (60–90 minutes) and can be uncomfortable if rushed. Get on the list and we'll let you know first.
How much does an IV cost?
Single infusions range from $169 (NUYU Reset) to $259 (NUYU Active). Shots range from $30 to $65. The full menu has every price.
What's the difference between a membership and a package?
A membership is a recurring monthly commitment with discounts on add-ons and medications. A package is a one-time purchase (e.g., Buy 3 Get 1) you redeem when you want, within 6 months. Pick a package to test the waters; pick a membership when you've found a rhythm.
What do members get?
Every membership includes a monthly infusion and a B-12 shot, plus:
  • 10% off vitamin add-ons
  • BOGO 50% on IV medications
  • 60-day rollover on unused services
  • Priority booking
Compare all three tiers.
What's the 3-month minimum about?
Memberships have a 3-month minimum commitment. After month 3, you can cancel any time at the end of the current billing cycle. Why 3 months? Wellness habits take a beat to actually stick. The minimum is built around real outcomes, not just locking you in.
Can I pause my membership?
Yes. Once you're past the 3-month minimum you can pause for up to 60 days, once per calendar year. Email us and we'll set it up.
What happens if I don't use my month?
Your earned services roll over for 60 days. So a missed month doesn't lose the value. You have a window to use it.
Can a DUO membership be shared with anyone?
The two members are named at signup and stay fixed for the membership. You can update the named members at the start of any billing cycle. Schedules don't need to align. You each book independently against the shared monthly allotment.
Do you accept HSA / FSA?
Sometimes, varies by plan. We'll provide an itemized receipt with codes you can submit for reimbursement. We can't guarantee your plan will reimburse for IV wellness; check with your administrator first.
Is mobile IV therapy safe?
Yes, when done by a licensed clinician under standing orders from a medical director, using sterile single-use equipment, with proper screening on arrival. All of that describes what we do. Minor side effects (bruising at the site, cool feeling during the drip) are normal. Anything significant is rare and we monitor you the whole time.
Who shouldn't get an IV?
IV therapy isn't appropriate for everyone. We can't treat people who:
  • Are actively, seriously ill (you need urgent or ER care, not us)
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding without prior physician approval
  • Have certain conditions (kidney/heart disease, G6PD deficiency, etc.) that should be cleared by your doctor first
  • Have an allergy to any ingredient in the infusion you've chosen
We screen for all of this on arrival and may decline to treat if it isn't safe that day. We refund the visit in full when that happens.
What are the side effects?
Most common: a cool feeling during the infusion, a mild flush from the B-vitamins, bruising at the IV site. Rare: lightheadedness, nausea, allergic reaction. We stay with you the whole time and carry the standard emergency protocols for anything significant.
Will I feel different right away?
Most people feel hydration and clarity within the hour. B-12 hits in a few hours and lasts days to weeks depending on the form. Skin and antioxidant effects (Glutathione, biotin) build over multiple sessions. Recovery from a hangover or migraine is usually fastest. People often feel meaningful relief before the drip ends.
Do I need a doctor's note?
No. Our medical director provides standing orders. You'll fill out a health history in JaneApp before your first visit, and your clinician reviews it on arrival.
What about needle anxiety?
Tell us when you book. Your clinician will go slow, explain each step, and use the smallest appropriate gauge. Most people who were nervous on visit 1 stop thinking about it by visit 3.
Is my health information protected?
Yes. All clinical and medical information lives inside JaneApp, which is built specifically for healthcare and is HIPAA-compliant. Nothing medical lives on this website. Read our HIPAA boundary notice for the details.
Do you share my info with anyone?
No marketing partners, no data brokers, no social pixels. We use a small number of standard service providers (hosting, email, scheduling) to run the business. Full list in our privacy policy.
Can I get a copy of my data?
Yes. Email hello@nuyuiv.com and we'll respond within 30 days. For your clinical record specifically, JaneApp also lets you download it yourself.
What if I move out of the area?
We'll work with you on membership cancellation without the usual 3-month minimums. Just let us know.
Do you do events, parties, or corporate visits?
Yes: bridal mornings, wellness retreats, corporate wellness days, and pop-ups. Send us a note with the details and we'll put a quote together.
What if I have a question that isn't here?
Send us a note. We answer every message ourselves, usually within a day. And if it's a good question, we'll add it to this page.
